Disappointed with Groupon Deal. I’ve been to the restaurant on several occasions and I’m usually pleased with the food and the service. So, I was a excited to see an offer on groupon. $7 for $14 worth of food. Well, I specifically asked the server could we use the Groupon on anything and she clearly stated yes. When we went to pay our bill, we were told we couldn’t use groupon on combo specials. Our bill would have been approx. $25, but then the owner charged us regular price of $35. Well, she took off the $14 but if you take into consideration the $7 I paid for the Groupon, I would have been better off with no Groupon. This is the first Groupon I’ve bought that I feel was a scam.

Kid-friendly. This is a great place to bring children – the staff are very friendly and accommodating, and there are lots of things on the menu that kids like to eat. The service is usually very prompt, so if you need to get in and out that’s a bonus too.
Amazing for families with kids as well as people who just wish to eat in peace.. My family has been going there every weekend since they opened. The waitresses are all sisters. You have Rosa, Sylvia, and Natalia. In addition many of their extended family work there as well. Maryjo is the owner along with her husband Andy. My daughter was very little when I started going and when she would get fussy one of the owners or waitresses would take her and keep her distracted while I ate. They very much care about your family. Benetis is the quintessential family restaurant. Talk about Southern Charm! Having said that, I would also say that they are good at reading moods and people. If you are someone that wishes to eat alone or does not want to socialize with the people serving your food they will respect that and you will simply receive great service. When you go, take a minute and look to the left of the register on the window. They have a board with many of their customers children on it. Talk about inspiring customer loyalty! The Greek buffet during the week is also wonderful. Sometimes during the week it is a bit quieter because the surrounding restaurants are open and the people go there that work in RTP. Pretty much a weekly lunch place being kept secret by a few. Shh!!! Don’t tell anyone I said anything. 🙂 Hit them up during the week at lunch, or stop early for breakfast. They have amazing coffee. They are open from 7:30-2pm. Oh, also for those that love a loyalty program…they have a punch card. You may have to ask for it though, I haven’t seen them out lately. I think it is buy 6 entrees get 1 free? Not sure…don’t quote me on that 🙂
Found Breakfast Anytime. Who doesnt like breakfast anytime, well maybe its just me, but a short stack, eggs and bacon put me in a good mood. This place was on my way from Apex to RTP in Durham. Its kinda off HWY 55 in a shopping center that has a few other restaurants in it. Seems like an interesting area since there is also a Thai, Indian, Emapanada and Cajun / Creole restaurants in the same plaza. Anyway, the pancakes were good enough to get me on here to write a reveiw. When I asked what brand batter they used she said flour and milk. That should say enough. If you’re in Durham or the surrounding area, give this place a try.
Great food and friendly service. We have been going here for a weekend brunch almost every week for the last year.
