This place has a nice environment and a menu that will please anyone. Service wasn’t the best but I would definitely go back here! The roasted artichoke and spinach pizza was yummy!
The ratings are overall good for CPK, but I have eaten here twice and here’s what I think: it is overpriced and not particularly high quality. I don’t think they are making their own crust. My wife had an arugula salad and over half the greens were bruised or overgrown and tough. The tomato sauce has a hint of sweetness to it (yuck). Service is just OK.
Great Lunch!. My daughter and I ate at CPK today. She has eaten there many times, but this was only the second time for me. My first impression wasn’t great, so I’m especially glad I gave them a second chance. My daughter had the Caesar salad and pepperoni pizza. I had 2 apps for my lunch. The white corn guacamole with chips was ok. Not stellar but I ate the whole thing. I also had the lettuce wraps filled with Shiitake mushrooms, water chestnuts and scallions with a spicy soy-ginger sauce. The wraps are offered with shrimp, chicken or a combo of the two. I chose to add no meat and it was fabulous! I would definitely order the lettuce wraps again. The menu was more extensive than I remembered. Our server was great. Overall a very nice lunch experience. I look forward to going back.
Excellent Pizza. I had an excellent time yesterday at the Streets at Southpoint. This stop included one of my favorite pizza spots – California Pizza Kitchen (6910 Fayetteville Road # 154 – Durham, NC 27713-8258).Excellent food and service. The weather was perfect for sitting outside as wellOur choice for lunch on this visit was the Chipotle Chicken pizza. Just the right about of heat and the flavors were amazing. I really did not want to stop eating – however – all good things must come to an end.Make sure you check out California Pizza Kitchen on your next visit to The Streets at Southpoint.
