Been to several Brazilian steak houses and was thrilled, but not here. Beef was inconsistent; sometimes too rare to eat, other times well done and dry. Chicken and pork seasoned well but over cooked. Perhaps due to high cost low traffic, the meat is not getting good turns. I think staff cooks it rare and then holds temp while serving thin amount of customers. Friday night, no wait. That should have been our first sign.
Great restaurant, food and service were excellant. Even on a busy Saturday night we were seated prompty.

Disappointing. We made reservations at Chamas for New Years Eve because we had celebrated there in the past and had a wonderful experience. Unfortunately it feels as though Chamas wasn’t trying as hard this year to impress it’s customers. The hot buffet was slimmed down from what we remember and the food in the cold buffet wasn’t anything special. Most, though not all of the meat dishes were still very good. The bar only got 1 of our 5 original drink orders correct and we sent back coffee three times (not because we were picky but because it wasn’t actually proper coffee; once it was below room temperature and once was actually just a cup of hot water). Our waitress was clearly frustrated with the bar and kitchen staff and apologized profusely.The atmosphere was lively and they had a live band playing for New Years which was fun. They offered a champagne toast for a 9pm New Year’s celebration in Brazil (which they had a live newscast being projected in the restaurant).Overall the meal was still enjoyable, but the lower quality of the buffet items, continuous drink mistakes and given our high expectations from past visits we walked away disappointed.
