The food and service are FANTASTIC, We love this place. It is the closest thing to NYC Chinatown that we have found.
Best authentic Chinese in the Triangle. We’ve been eating at China Palace for years ever since we discovered the traditional menu. Everything on that menu is fresh, delicious,and very flavorful –a great way to break out of the Americanized Chinese menu rut. Especially recommended are the spicy dried bean curd with shredded pork, the lamb stew with ginger (only available in winter), the whole-fried grouper with sweet and sour chili sauce (call a day ahead for this one as they’ll make sure they get you an excellent fresh fish), the ohn choy (Chinese watercress), the kung pao squid, the super hot beef tripe . . . I can go on. If you are an adventuresome eater, do yourself a favor and check out CP. And once they know you there, they treat you like family. Lovely people.
