My first impression was not good. First, this place has an identity crises. It’s not a pub or a bar. Second I noticed huge tubs of pre-fried chips (lazy). However, the food is pretty good. The brioche bun was fab! The burger was not cooked how I ordered it (medium) but seasoned well & delish. Even those pre cooked chips were ok. They would’ve been better had they been fried to order but I’d go back
The food is wonderful, the atmosphere is comfortable and appealing. The menu is made with the freshest ingredients and the options are good (not too large!). Their selection and knowledge of craft beer is impressive. You must try the Mattie Melt and the Guava Cayenne Wings, you won’t be disappointed.
