Avoid at all cost! This place has the worst customer service. On a saturday evening, my companion and I entered this establishment and waited 10mins to be greeted at our table and the restaurant was only 50% full. Once our meals arrived, my date’s teriyaki chicken was worst than what you’d buy from the frozen food section and he ate 2 forks of his vegetables and I told him to send it back and get something he’d actually enjoy. He did and after the ‘manager’ agreed he could change his meal to 2 comparable sushi rolls, our waitress came back to our table and informed us that our manager changed her mind and said half the vegetables were eaten so he could only have 1 sushi roll. There was clearly an entire entree left on his plate and not once did the manager come over to discuss our dissatisfaction or her decision after I repeatedly requested her presence. Our poor server was so accommodating and apologetic that I decided to leave and just send an email to the owners and am awaiting their response. There are a number of OUTSTANDING sushi and asian fusion restaurants in the downtown Durham area, this one should be avoided, my sushi wasn’t stellar and my dates meal was piss poor. Save your time and money and go somewhere else…

He remembered our wine order from the night before..if you’re not into spicy steer clear of the spicy rolls, the servers will tell you they’re just a little spicy and they’re really spicy!!! They have daily specials and a great view of the square!
