Pad Thai was great! Way better than others I’ve had
I eat here almost daily at lunch. The lunch special is a great deal. For 7.95 you have 17 entrees to choose from with soup included with your meal! The staff is very friendly and accommodating to my particular tastes. I recommend them highly. The other review about an exploding beverage is hilarious. Someone stabs the side of their own bubble tea cup and then doesn’t just admit to it and asks nicely to see if just maybe they could get a replacement, but just says they aren’t paying for it gets what they deserve. How many non carbonated beverages have you seen spontaneously explode?
Delicious. Chkn pad Thai was delicious! Large portion. Chkn panag curry medium make you sweat!! Delicious
Awful service!!!!. We have been to this restaurant several times but we are never going back…. a drink we ordered not only exploded all over the table but tasted horrible and they refused to take it off the bill or replace it. They never brought water for the rest of our party and we never saw the rice that was part of our order. The food tasted good but it wasn’t worth the horrible service.
VERY SKIMPY ON THE AMOUNT OF FOOD. The food was o.k., not great. I ordered the lunch special, red curry with shrimp and I was very surprised how tiny the portion was of the main dish. Lots of rice but literally 1 cup of the main dish. I was very hungry still after I finished lunch.In my opinion not good value.
Still great. I still love this place, and it has been passed from one generation to another and maintained its spectacular menu and fresh ingredients while adding a little more in terms of tasty beverages….I love it and could slurp soup there every day.wish I still worked in durham
LOVE IT!. Oh my. Where do I start? First of all, I lived away from Durham for 7 years and thought I would never find great Vietnamese food again. I love Kim Son! Pass me the Sriracha and let’s eat!So I went there when we moved back again, and it was just like I remember–fantastic food, homey service, fantastic food, and did I mention fantastic food. AND!–now they have a billion flavors of tapioca drinks available. I had the mocha one–very good.
