Great experience!!!. Excellent! Had a reservation of 10 the before DPAC, & they did everything they could to get us in & make it work. When the reservation changed to 12 last minute, it didn’t phase them and they accommodated us immediately. Good service, great food, & overall a great experience. They were busy but the food and service was excellent, will come back SOON…

Our waiter Eric was excellent. Knowledgeable, eager and suggested the Mezzaluna Pasta with Lobster that was out of this world !

Good, but could be better. Dined here for lunch the other day, we were sat promptly because they were not busy and drinks were brought in a timely manner. The bread was fresh and the sun dried tomato infused olive oil was very good to start with. Ordered calamari as an app, and it came out very quickly, although it was not good. The batter was falling off the pieces and they calamari itself was very chewy. It was either overcooked, or had been precooked and then sat for awhile, then thrown in the fryer again. The sauces that were served with it were great. I got the Tuscan Rigatoni for my main course. It was excellent, not too saucy and all of the flavors blended very well. So overall the service was great, food came out in a timely manner and it was good. I will definitely go back and try the calamari again, because I loved everything else about this place.

Valentine’s Day. I’ve gone to Piazza Italia for the past 3 Valentine’s days in a row. I’m in school so I can’t really afford to go but once a year. But I always make sure I find a date for an excuse to buy my favorite Italian food in the triangle. Not for fans of Olive Garden or the faint of heart as this is REAL Italian food.

Overpriced Italian food. I’ve gone twice to this place and both times the food was just bland and terrible; however, the waiting staff there is terrific and the gelato next to the place is amazing.

Horrible gnocchi. Menu looked promising, but their gnocchi was horrible, to the point that I couldn’t even eat much of it, and that is saying a lot! Don’t waste your money, if you want nice Italian, go somewhere else.
