Service was terrible. Waiter came quickly once we were first seated and then brought our drinks but then disappeared (actually waiting on everyone else and walking by our table empty handed several times). 15 minutes later he come and offers some inaudible apology. Ordered our food with an appetizer. 20 minutes later our food shows up but no appetizer. Again mumbles something about a problem in the kitchen. 5 minutes later the appetizer comes out. The table next to us got some bread brought out when they got their drinks. We did not get any bread but I’m not sure that is standard fare there so can’t hold that against them. Sometimes you just get bad service but for the price I would expect the food to be better. The Italian Grilled chicken had no flavor. The potatoes were dry. The spaghetti with meat sauce was also very bland and very watery like they did not drain the pasta very well before plating. All in all a very bad dining experience. Will not be going back.

This was my first visit here as I was staying at the hotel next door and overall it was solid food. Definitely NOT authentic (if you have ever been to Italy you know the American version of ‘Italian’ food couldn’t be more contradictory). Portions are generous and good value. Had the eggplant parm and the garden salad. Salad was crisp and fresh. Pasta was al dente. Wait staff pleasant and attentive. This place is the epitome of the beloved American local ‘Italian’ restaurant. I would come back again.

Comfortable food and place. While traveling, took a chance on Pomodoros. When walking in, an older gent happened to ask if we were first time visitors. We must look like rookies. We said yes and he said you are going to love this place. He was right on. Good bread, excellent pastas. I customized mine adding pesto and it was way more than I could handle. Nothing tasted canned or pre-done. Good service….waiter took a custom order for 5 and nailed it. A comfortable family place priced fairly. Desserts looked good, but nowhere near enough room to even split one. Good food. Recommend.

Leaves you graving more!!!. I fell upon Pomodoro as I was driving home from Duke and I haven’t stopped thinking about their food. I had the lobster ravioli and it was delicious!!! I made my husband come back two days later to try it out. He had the pizza and says its as close to NY pizza as it gets. They have a great bar and we enjoyed dinner on the patio. Definitely , make this one of your next dinner spots!!

Pomodoro is the place for authentic Italian food!. SicilianI owners who serve the real thing! love the food and atmosphere there. Great outside patio area to eat when the weather is nice! Love the baked spaghetti and the lasagna! Good selection of desserts. Large servings also. Reasonably priced and friendly atmosphere too!

Horrible. I have tried this over and over again to try different items to see if they could get better but they are all horrible! The dishes are no better then canned italian dishes and the sauce is unbearable I had to throw every dish I have bought here away I don’t know why I keep trying them over and over again….the service is so good I feel bad that the food is so bad I guess that is why the only thing that is ok is the salads but really how can you mess salad up…the pasta dishes are just horrible the sauce and cheese are cheap processed crap in a can I cook better at home.

Awful pizza! Honestly the worst pizza I have ever had. My husband & I were in disbelief. How can you screw pizza up that bad? There was no flavor & soo greasy. I HATE domino’s & would rate domino’s head & shoulders above this place. We honestly joked that the box would have more flavor. This has been a couple months ago & we still talk about it. I cannot stress enough to avoid the pizza!
