Amazing food and service! Friendly staff. The prices were great! Family of 4 with individual plates to include a whole pizza, drinks, & canolli was less than $60. Will definitely go back.
The food was great as good as any Italian restaurant I’ve been to. Harrison was our server and couldn’t have been better. If I am back in Durham this will be on the top of my list of places to eat.

Boring. Not bad, but nothing exciting. I wanted something basic and had the lasagna. Even for basic, it was bland. Nothing my friends were eating looked like anything I’d fight them for — unusual, because I’m crazy about Italian food. Sad beer selection (no taps). Upside: good portion for the money.
This is the best restaurant in all of Durham, the food is amazing and the owner knows all his regulars and encourages his wait stafff to do the same.
Edible NC Pizza? Huh?. I’ve finally found a regular pizza in the triangle that’s worth ordering when I don’t feel like making my own. Very few places here make Sicilian style, so I was excited to find out Pulcinella’s had it on their menu. While it’s hardly thick enough to be considered Sicilian style (crust would need to be twice as thick), it’s the thickness of the regular Italian pizza that I grew up with and have a constant craving for. All in all a much refreshing change from the thin-crust craze which I just don’t understand (no time for that rant here). Oh, and they actually cook the peppers & onions before putting them on the pie – common sense, I know, but then why do so many places around here insist on serving you practically raw veggies? (I’m looking at YOU, Randy’s!)
