Humongous NY Pizza Slices!. I’m a huge pizza fan and Randy’s does it right. This place is probably one of the LARGEST pizzeria’s I’ve ever seen and built to dish out a lot of pies for the RTP lunch bunch. And you know why? Because you get a lot of pizza for your money here. Slices are big enough to cover your head with a good balance of cheese, sauce and delectable crust. I think Randy’s uses a lot of garlic in their sauce which is fine by me. Toppings are generous and lunch specials make it a great deal. What can I say but if you work in the area, stop on by for a slice. Probably the top 3 for NY pizza in the area for me… nctriangledining.com
Crazy place. If your up for a lunch place that makes you feel alive, It’s Randy’s…. At peak lunch rush the place is packed, loud as could be, you head to the counter to place your order as fast as you can feeling the hungry mob behind you breathing down your neck. Behind the counter the pizza cuts must be made for speed as the shape rarely resembles the triangle slice you would expect. The pizza is thin crust and flavorful the place is a rush for sure…
Lunch Time Rush!!!. The Pizza is great. Almost a true NY Slice (dough is much thinner) but you better get there right at 12:00 pm or there WILL be a line!!!
Big, fat New York slices. 2 pieces is almost a quarter of a pie. Randy’s also does oven subs and cheesesteaks, has a salad bar, and now serves beer! It’s loud but good. Crowded from 1130am-1pm.
New York Style. This is among the best pizza in the Triangle. Hugely crowded during the RTP lunch rush, but worth the wait. Folks working there have been there for years, it’s fun to watch them work through the rush. Love their white pizzas, calzones are HUGE (1/2 for lunch, 1/2 for dinner), and make sure to check out their daily pizza specials.
Good stuff that’s hard to beat. Take some earplugs. The RDU runway is quiet compared to Randy’s.
My favorite pizza joint ing RTP. Go here before any else for pizza (& more) in RTP.
