Great food at a low price point. The HUEVOS RANCHEROS sandwich is a steal at 5 bucks. Take a fork or spoon to eat the spillover. Loaded with pico, avacado, black beans and plenty of cheese (along with an egg of course). The donuts are to die for……we tried and loved the glazed, apple fritter and nutella. Coffee is really good as well. Walk up, wait in line (it moves pretty quickly with multiple order takers), munch on free donut holes while you wait while sipping coffee, and take your meal outside to the awaiting umbrella tables. Efficient service. A popular place that is worth a return visit. Recommend.

I have been to Rise twice – once before the movies, once before work. Their Apple Butter donut is to die for! Easily my favorite! Also, I love their biscuits with white American, bacon and a sunny side up egg! It’s a little pricy but a nice treat every now and again, and the hot fresh coffee tastes like the best wake up call I’ve ever had!

Delicious! My sister and I split the bavarian cream donut and it was so fresh! I also had the oktoberfest biscuit (bratwurst with spicy mustard and sauerkraut) it was amazing!

Best donut. Saddest location, but I’ll be back.

Bad reception spoils good doughnuts. I have enjoyed Rise’s doughnuts and biscuits, but not today. The cashier, white, dirty blonde, early twenties, pony tailed, (sorry didn’t get her name, didn’t want to anyway after her cold reception). As we approached the counter, no greetings from her, not even hello, then no smile and nothing. I was complled to order and just move over for next customer. She did mot get my name right. My name is Dan, but she got it as Ben. It’s understandable in other occasions but after her inhospitable reception, this was also annoying. Bad after taste from her poor reception spoiled good taste of doughtnuts. I am not going back to Rise again. There are plenty of good doughnut shops around the region.

It’s a must visit place in S Durham. A great twist on donuts and biscuits. I haven’t had a bad thing yet!
