This place is very good and authentic! Most nights it’s hard to get some South Indian dishes likely because they can be more time consuming. If you want South Indian come for lunch. Had dinner and was very happy. Best Indian place in triangle I’ve been to.

I have never been to an Indian restaurant before…they were very nice and the food was flavorful. I recommend the ginger chicken!

We went here at 7:30 pm on a Friday night. Specifically came here because they have both north Indian and south Indian dishes on their menu. While attempting to place an order we were told the chef wouldn’t make south Indian dishes because the chef was busy with a catering order. We were disappointed but we stuck around and went thru the menu again to find something out daughter would eat. After conferring for about 10 minutes we decided on having a couple of soups. When we tried to place the order we were told that they also don’t have soups. At this point it was ridiculous that they didn’t tell us the first time that they didn’t have soups either. Needless to say, we left, hungry and irritated that they didn’t have the decency to tell us that certain items weren’t available even after being advertised on their menu. And wasted close to an hour of our time. I’m 34 and I’ve never left a restaurant prior to this after sitting down. This was a first.

Hit no miss.. Damn it bob the food was spicy! I was disappointed that I was changed for bowls of rice but other than that the experience was fine. The naan was very good. The entrees were great. The masala chai was nasty but the service was excellent. I’ll go back if I’m ever in that part of town again.

Hit or miss. One time was amazing, another was really, really bad.

Inconsistent food quality and the worst customer service. Typically their lunch buffet menu items taste good. But at dinner, it could be a hit or miss. One of our friends had to send some food back to the kitchen to fix it. They did it, so be it a little hesitantly.Another time, when we ordered for take out (got lentil (daal makhani), potato+caulifolower (aloo gobi) and 2 other items). The lentil was really raw and hard, while the potato and cauliflower were half cooked. So we called the restaurant to explain the problem and ask if they could deliver the items (and we would send back the problem items).Their response was that it is cooked properly! Then we tried explaining that the food was indeed not cooked well, and the phone suddenly got disconnected. So we tried calling back immediately, and got the busy tone. After that we tried calling them 5 more times through out the next 15 min and still got the busy tone. We figured they left the phone unhooked, and decided to go to the restaurant to return the items. When we got there, the person at the counter, pretended as if he did not know what was wrong with the phone. He did not acknowledge our problem. So I asked him to taste the food and let us know if thats the normal way the dish should taste. He did not taste it. So we asked to see the cook (who happens to be part owner of the restaurant), so we can give him the feedback directly. The person at the counter asked us to wait for few mins, went inside and came back and decided to refund our money. (This part is fine). We waited for 15 min and got impatient for having to wait so long to give feedback (that I assumed the owner might want to hear from his customers). So we asked the person at the counter to check how long we would have to wait. He hesitated and tried to dissuade us to talk to the owner/chef. Upon insisting, he went in and comes back and tells us that unfortunately the chef has left the restaurant :)We really did not know how to respond to this… the owner was to scared to face a disgruntled customer or he did not just care enough for our feedback.Either way, the CUSTOMER SERVICE REALLY SUCKS and the AVERAGE FOOD QUALITY does not deserve a trip to this restaurant.

Excellent Indian food! Where Indians go to eat Indian food. The food is good and doesn’t Americanize itself. Does everywhere need liquor in order to be good? No!
