I just don’t get it.. I returned with a group of people who all loved it. For me, there was nothing at all on the buffet to rave about and barely anything at all that a vegan would even eat. The waiter glared at us every time he came to the table to take plates or fill water glasses. The group thought it was funny. Aside from the very nice group of people that joined me there for dinner the experience was mainly a disappointment.25 Jul, 2011Didn’t like it.. Went there twice and didn’t like it. The food was not good and it was kinda creepy. Looks like it hasn’t received a positive review in a while. Would love to know it had gotten better. Also, not sure how it qualifies as vegetarian.
Deepwater Horizon Chicken. Ordered the chicken vindaloo. Was shocked by the amount of oil floating on the dish. Skimmed off a lot of oil using a spoon, picked out the chicken (which didn’t taste like vindaloo at all), and by the time I finished eating, more oil floated to the top.The next day, still have an upset stomach.
Never again. Made a booking for a hall with them, but did not honor the booking. Gave it to someone else for more money and did not even bother to let me know. Terrible attitude.
Horrible smelly food. I attended two big parties there and the food was so smelly and very poorly made.Even whwn someone complained about it ,the manager did not bother and said he will shut down the whole party if any body complains..so iwould never recommend anyone to go there for anykind of party or meal..
Tandoori has been best Indian authentic restuarant for us for the last thirteen years.it has great naan,chicken& great veg collection, you must try Tuesday special,buy one get one free!!!!
Delicious. The food here is just great. Pricier than I’m used to for most Indian food, but I’ve found (surprisingly) that a lot of it’s more expensive in Durham. Nice choices for both lunch and dinner buffets (I think dinner is only Friday/Saturday — not sure), but lunch is a way better value. Try a mango lassi too.
Great Lunch buffet & food try it. I have a tight budget with great taste buds, I know lot about indian food, this place is the best with its quality& it is the same taste all the time the naans are the best try the brunch on weekends it has great wine & mimosa that is what i love!!! Prices are suberb that i can afford for lunches
