This place is delicious. I’ve literally been here a dozen times and not had the same thing twice and everything was amazing. My gf is a chef and this is one of her favorite spots in Durham because of how wonderful the food is in both preparation and presentation. The service staff is good and been there for a while. My only gripes are that they’re small so can’t handle larger groups (so my team at work can come), they don’t have call ahead (so they typically have a wait – still absolutely worth it), and they don’t have alcohol. Go! And check out their new location when it opens

If you haven’t been here yet…drop what you’re doing and GO. NOW. I have yet to taste chicken and waffles like the ones here. The sugar-rimmed lemonade is crazy good, but you have to chase it with some h2o. I have yet to find anything I can’t eat here. EXAMPLE: I avoid jam like the plague. But I’ll eat their bacon-orange jam by the ramekin. Even without the fluffier-than Bojangles biscuits – but I don’t recommend that you deprive yourself of THAT experience. Chances are if you go there, I’ll be posted at the bar with the shrimp and grits…see you in a few!
