Meh. Liked the atmosphere on the deck and the live music. The appetizers were good; fried pickles & peppers, firecracker shrimp, onion rings, tuna, loaded fries. Entrees I found lacking. I got the shrimp nachos. Husband got bacon wrapped scallops with pesto sauce, scallops were sandy and bacon not crispy.
Mediocre at best. Same entree mis/cooked twice. If you’re into chips the chips are great. The staff attempted to correct service recovery, I will give them that. I would suggest other venues if your wanting to enjoy your meal.
Favorite family spot for lunch during our beach week each summer. Food always good!
Love Flipperz. Few menu items, but consistent. Be prepared to wait IN SUMMER! We won’t even go in summer. The adult grill cheese is very different and so yummy! The fresh cut chips are great and the house salad is a good portion too. Seafood bisque is really good.
July 1,2013. Got there right at 5:00. We were immediately seated and greeted and order taken. We ordered the ribeye and Cajun shrimp. Absolutely delicious. Food was piping hot. Everyone was super friendly. Bought fudge after. Don’t skip the fudge.
Combination seafood platter was cooked to perfection. Plus the homemade tartar sauce and cocktail sauce or very spicy and thanks. The steak sandwiches or cooked to our liking and they have great french fries. The kids menu has a lot to offer and they were very happy. The service was great and they kept our drinks we filled when we needed it. Definitely go back here again.
Cute place but tiny. Good place for burgers and salads. Save room for apple dumpling dessert! Great service every time
