Absolute worst experience in a restaurant in Fayetteville.

I’m not all that fond of Applebee’s to begin with but after my last experience I will not be going back. The restaurant was freezing. We sat at the bar and it took forever to get our food. When we did get our combo app the chips were ridiculously stale, my cheese sticks were cold, it was just all around bad. My burger was burnt. My fries weren’t done. Even though we were sitting at the bar it took our waitress forever to get anything we asked for. Not to mention the restaurant was nasty. There was trash all over the floor, the trash cans by the server’s station were over flowing and so were the ones in the bathroom. Plus the floor looked sticky and gross like it hadn’t been mopped in awhile. It was just all around bad.
Terrible. This was probably one of the worst places that I have eaten in this city. I am not a huge fan of Applebee’s anyways, but they will sometimes do in a pinch. However, this particular restaurant is run horribly. The staff is not very friendly, the service is slow even when there aren’t many other people there. We sat across from a dirty table for our entire long meal. It looked like a team of kids had been there, and no one thought to clean it up. Needless to say, we won’t be going back there again.
The Applebee’s on Skibo is the worst. The tone was set when the dirty-looking host seated us. Half the place was empty and he acted like he couldn’t find anywhere to seat us. When he found a suitable table my husband had to sit across from me because there was a wet towel in the seat. It took 40 minutes to get a salad and the drinks had to be remade twice. The server tried but the nasty manager is the real problem.
The greeting was horrible. As soon as we walked in they placed us on a dirty table and said that was ok. Then hostess was pulling his pants up by his butt and then tried to handle our silverware. It took them 45 minutes to bring a salad over to the table. I never come here again and I will make sure to never recommend this establishment to anyone ever.
