Bleck. The triple chocolate cupcake was ok (pretty hard to mess up one of those) but I swear the secret ingredient in their strawberry champagne cupcake was Kool-Aid. Kool-Aid has a pretty distinct taste and there was no mistaking this one.
These are the best cupcakes!. At first, we did not go to this cupcake store because there were so many bad reviews. However, we found that they moved to a new location then the previous reviews denote (they are located in the Cross Creek mall) and they have delicious cupcakes-favorites include their delicious vanilla cupcake, birthday cake, and a chocolate and peanut butter flavor. The cupcakes are fresh, and delicious! The frosting is not too sweet, it’s just right. We’ve probably visited them 5 times in the last 5 months and have not been disappointed once. Love them!
Like the Cupcake Gallery Downtown!!! The cupcakes are adorable & love the Elvis cupcake!!! I do wish they would update their facebook page more & let us know the flavors they have that day… Would probably get A LOT more business …. Because itz so easy to check in & find out then stop on ur way home!!! But no matter how many times I suggest this- it gets ignored… So they only get my business once in awhile cause I’m not searching for parking to find out itz something I don’t want… Just saying…
You’re better off going to the grocery store….. **Note: I tried the cupcakes from the Cupcake Gallery at the mall, not the downtown store location. **The cupcakes themselves are really bland and their frosting tastes either of food dye or just straight sugar (regardless if you get the whipped or butter-cream). Grocery store cupcakes have more flavor and a better taste, sadly. $3 is too much to pay for a cupcake that isn’t even decent. Btw, I’ve tried several different flavors on 3 different occasions just trying to be fair but each time it’s been a big disappointment. Will not waste my money or make my taste-buds suffer again.
A fair sweet treat…nothing spectacular. I’ve visited a handful of times trying a different flavor each time. The lime & strawberry tasted artificial. The birthday cake was disgusting. The red velvet, chocolate, and peanut butter were Ok…not moist enough and very crumbly. It is fun to visit the shop because of the concept but they really fail to deliver quality & tasty cupcakes. Their business office seems to be set up in the dining area and the baker’s child roams free and does what she pleases. It really puts a damper on what would otherwise be a nice atmosphere. Customer service needs work, too. I hope they can get it together.
Worst Cupcake Ever. This place has a great shop with wonderful decor. The cupcakes were beautiful. They tasted horrible!!! What a letdown. The flavors were obviously artificial, the icing was definately not made with butter but instead with shortening. We tried three different flavors and each one was awful. We would never go there again.
How can you screw up a cupcake?. Horrible. Icing tasted like straight Crisco. Cake was dry and worse than tasteless. Tasted like a bad box cupcake made with bargain basement ingredients. Completely overpriced for a cupcake! All icing/frosting, no cake. This concept could be a real winner downtown, but the Cupcake Gallery totally missed the mark. Sorry, but you’d be better off with a box of Duncan Hines.
