You have got to be kidding me!. Was walking downtown and was thirsty. Stopped in and ordered a bottle of soda. NEARLY $3!!! For a bottle of soda? C’mon. Don’t care how good the food is, they are crazy to charge those prices in Fayetteville. No wonder the place sits empty.

Very good food and service. As a vegan, it was great to find The Fresh Cafe, my 19month old and parents both enjoyed it. When we were done eating, the waiter brought me a clean, warm towel for easier baby clean up. The kids menu is good and the adults ate for about $9 per person.
Under New Management???. Please tell me this rumor is true! Love the concept of the Fresh Cafe’ and personally, I support only locally owned restaurants, but I will not spend another dime in this establishment until they revamp the pricing and make it more realistic and do something about the horrific service. The Fresh Cafe’ is a good thing for Downtown. The menu is different and welcome (well, it was before the old owner started cutting corners and trying to pass off stale pita bread, marginal ingredients mixed with cheap filler, etc.). Hope the new owner develops this diamond in the rough. I’ll give them a chance to get things up to speed and give this place another shot. I would encourage everyone to support locally owned restaurants and give the Fresh Cafe’ another chance if your past experience was anything like mine!07 Oct, 2010Waaaay overpriced.. I work close by and their food is pretty good. I’d go every day, but I’d have to take out a second mortgage! Way overpriced. They best smoothies around, but you had better be packin’ cash, and plenty of it! Too expensive for downtown. On a nice day, the outside seating is great, but again, for the price, I’ll walk to Blue Moon or Pierro’s and sit outside. Quality is OK, portions are small, prices are crazy.Just as another reviewer said, it is cramped. Never realized they had an upstairs until my last visit. That front table is a joke. It’s like eating in a fishbowl. Hope this guy takes a hard look at his business. He’s got a good idea, just needs some tweaking.
Terrible service. I tried this place twice. The first time we had to basically beg for service and then it was still terrible. I should have just gotten my drinks and food on my own. It took about 45 minutes to get two sandwiches, mostly because our waiter forgot to put in our order.I decided to give the place a second chance and I couldn’t get any service. I walked in and sat down and was ignored. I tried to get the attention of anyone, but no employee seemed to care that I was there. I left without ordering anything. It is a shame because I want to support local and vegetarian restaurants like this one. I just can’t get behind it when I can’t even get food. (Plus, the hours are terrible, but that is another story)
It’s Good!. Delish food that you won’t feel bloated or groggy after eating!
I was very happy. I have known the Brewingtons for a long time and to see that they have come up with a concept like this is great … I went with a friend and saw that the menu was simple and had a great variety. was got the hummus and a bottle of wine… although the selection of wine was not everything i would want to certainly covers all tastes. I fully recomend going and sitting on the patio for a nice late afternoon early evening dinner… I am sure you will find your self very comfortable…. Thanks
