  Horrible horrible experience here with bad service. We had a party of about 25 with a private room reserved well in advance. We were supposed to have 3 servers but we only had one. It took an hour to get bread and drinks. Then when we raised an issue with the person who said she was the owner, she was very combative and rude with us to the point that she was raising her voice to members of our party who tried to discuss the issues with her. We will never be back again and I would recommend that everybody else avoid this place. It has gone downhill.

  Crappy service. The hilltop house was a place our USAF Commander really enjoyed last year so we decided to have our xmas party here again. I was not there last year but i will tell you that this year made me never want to come to this place again. Our coordinator spoke to the staff many times to negotiate price, food items, # of people, etc. the last time she spoke to the staff, she told them there would be at least 70 people eating and some people would come for just drinks. They negotiated a menu that included dinner rather than just hors d’oeuvres. The day of the party on 6 dec, a few of us showed up over 1 hour early to help set up. A room was reserved for us that was smaller than my living room! There were tables with seats for up to 24 and could not fit any more tables and chairs. Our coordinator talked to the chef and the chef said she remembered that she came by to talk to her but didn’t remember her saying that there were 70 people. I Coordinator then asked about the food and she was told that there were only hors d’oeuvres and that the price was still 22+ dollars per person. The Coordinator spoke to the chef for a little while and they finally negotiated another area for seating which was another equivalent size but on the other side of the restaurant. They also negotiated food which–in the end was heavy hors d’oeuvres. Our number of people was approx 80-90 however our Coordinator told the chef that not all the people would be eating so they decided to start writing down a list of people that were eating to get a good count and to get a good total price. Throughout the rest of the night the servers were rude, slow with food, giving dirty looks, and muttering words under their breath. at the end of the night our unit was charged over $20 per person for 90 people. Not all 90 people all. This place is an embarrassment to the Fayetteville community and should be put on the black list for military personnel. The treatment there was uncalled for and was very unexpected especially for our entire unit of military people who are nice and respectful to all. I will never go to this place again I will write bad reviews in as many places as I can and I will try to get this place blacklisted.
