Amazing Sushi Lunch Buffet!. All you can eat sushi lunch is a great value for the money. Lots of different types of fresh sushi for just $10.95 a person. The sushi rolls were really big, my wife and I really felt like we got our money’s worth. They also had some warm beef, chicken, and shrimp on the buffet as well. Not many people were at the restaurant so it was an intimate dining experience and we our choice of sushi on the buffet. We’ll definitely go again!
Above average for a Hibachi Grill. The most impressive thing about Kobe is the staff. The bussers, wait staff, and owner are all very friendly. They will greet you at your table multiple times and may even have a conversation with you. My wife and I enjoyed talking to the owner and the staff but some of the other guests at our table didn’t appear to like the extra attention.The food is good with average prices for a Hibachi Grill. I ordered sushi and Hibachi chicken/scallops. By the time I was full, I had more than enough leftovers for another meal! The guy who grilled our food threw in quite a bit of comedy during his routine and my wife and I enjoyed it.Overall… Good food, friendly staff, and about average prices.
Sake BOMBS!. Went there for dinner with my buddies and the food tasted great! There was so much food on my plate I couldn’t finish (I got steak and shrimp hibachi). Plus they have this sake bomb special which is awesome! Our server was very nice and attentive considering how many drinks we ordered. Most definitely will be going back here.
I thought this place was fantastic! If you go in before 5:30, then you can order the Early Bird Special (a bargain!) for the same food as the regular entrees. The hibachi chef was so funny and very entertaining. I was thoroughly impressed. A lot of other places around here don’t have anything that is new anymore. I also ordered the TNT roll and dancing spicy tuna, and both of my rolls tasted amazing! I will definitely go back here.
The Kobe sushi lunch buffet is amazing. I go once or twice a week with some coworkers and its a good deal for the quality of sushi I get. I like the white snow and fayetteville roll the best, they go fast when they are busy but refill the food pretty quickly. Would recommend you try the place to see for yourself.
I do not recommend eating at Kobe.. The best part of my meal was the sushi, but I can’t remember too much about it to say anything. The chef at our grill was just going through the motions and was seemingly uninspired. The food was cooked with a LOT of butter and oil which came through in the final flavor and mouth feel(greasy). When we bit into our Tempura Calamari, oil came pouring out, maybe the oil was not hot enough? The white sauce they serve as dip tasted like ranch dressing to me and honey mustard to my husband. The other ginger dip had a better flavor and seemed to go more with the Japanese theme of the restaurant. The waitress was nice, on time and attentive. The hostess was impatient and unfriendly. Oh and if you have seafood allergies it is not recommended that you eat at Kobe, it says so on the menu.
Not the best in town reminded me of a express. Proablly not going back. Miyabi’s is still the best in town!!!
