Rude customer service and below average food. Having been in the military for a second now I know not to expect much from places like this in towns like Fayetteville but come on. If you can get waited on for a drink or food you’ve conquered the first hurdle. Next is keeping down the food they serve you. The burger looks like something you’d get at a little league baseball game (parents you know what I mean) and I’m certain the grouper bites really aren’t grouper as some disgruntled employees have suggested. Save your money for a place that values your patronage and at least treats you with the simple respect owed to a human.
Bad Night. Tonight was a bad night to dine at Latitude. Our party of 4 was seated inside at 7 shortly after arrival. We ordered shortly afterwards; a salad entre came at 7:30 and the other three meals at 8:00 after complaining about the wait. Two tables seated after we were seated received their food and completed their meal before the three late entrees arrived. There was no communication about the kitchen being slow due to a large party; there was no communication from our server at all. A manager and the waitress apologized for the slow food but by that time it was too late. All four entrees would have been well received had they been served in a timely manner. Two orders were not served as ordered with the sweet potato fries and French fries on the wrong plates. The French fries were cold and should not have been served.Comping some portion of the bill would have made the slow kitchen issue somewhat more palatable; good food doesn’t compensate for poor/slow service. I don’t know if the server dropped the ball or if the kitchen was just overwhelmed. Bottom line, it will be a while before I give Latitude another try.
Great restaurant! My favorite place to eat in Fayetteville. Great food, great beer and nice, quaint, laid back atmosphere. Not to mention the friendly service. I can never have enough of Latitude 35! You can’t go wrong with whatever you order but but Lattitude 35 has the best fish sandwich you’ll ever eat!
Repeatedly a customer. We have eaten here repeatedly. Never a bad meal. Always a great wait person and there have been several different wait staff members not just one good one. Beware the desserts are not island fare but they are wonderful, possibly addictive. Latitude 35 can count on our family’s repeated patronage. LOVE IT!
We are locals we know of the owners David & Tommy so with thaT said we packed up the clan and headed over to try them out it was a sunday early evening kinda chilly so we sat inside BEWARE THEY ALLOW SMOKING INSIDE THE RESTAURANT. was told by our server the owner doesnt care its his restaurant and he can do as he pleases we asked which owner she replied David, Tommy isnt an owner. Strike one and two. Its very bad to see staff talk negative about ownership & the cigar smell was overwhelming INSIDE!!!!! We continued with our meal we had the grouper bites again our server told us it wasnt really grouper she said we wouldnt really get grouper unless we ordered the broiled grouper instead she said it was a foreign white fish that was similar to grouper, the tacos fish sandwhich and grouper bites were all this white fish and not grouper as menu stated. Whatever the grouper bites were it was still good. We had the soup Tomato it was SO SO SALTY avoid the soup. My better half had the the broiled grouper it was topped with a cheesy mayo topping not a sauce as the menu stated he also had a potato cake and black bean salad the grouper was grouper the potato cake was to die for the bean salad was with fruit n corn it too yummy. I had Ahi tuna With 2 potato cakes tuna came with a wasabi aioli that was very good the potato cakes are OMG!!! we also ordered mac n cheese with sweet fries for the kids with sweet fries. Dessert was ok you could tell there box cakes. I unfortunatly smoke so I walked out to the patio to smoke my ciggy I wanted to ask David about the cigar smoke but he seemed busy kissing the girls that work for him, it made me very uncomfortable to watch. Not sure if we will return.
Pretty good for fayettenaum. I went to lattitude 35 with my father last night. The food was pretty good and a welcome break from the boring chain restaurants that abound in this town. i had the carribean salad with grilled shrimp which was pretty tasty. my father had the ahi tuna which he said was good. the staff were all quite nice and the service was quick. The only problem we had was that the place got EXTREMELY NOISY as the bar crowd started rolling in around 6:00. If you have a problem with noise i would suggest you try this at lunch. Also several of the menu items that were mentioned in the previous reviews such as the fried green tomatoe BLT and the key lime on a stick have been taken off the menu. All considered I will be back.
Food is amazing. Casual, great portions, great prices. Islemorada fish sandwhich is the best thing ever. Fish tacos r amazing. Also is a great bar hangout
