Honestly if I were to drive past Little Italy, I might not think much of it being located in a strip mall but this restaurant gives whole new meaning to don’t judge a book by it’s cover. We had a arty of 6 and had a 35 min wait to get a table (it isn’t a real big place), but it was completely worth it. Our waitress was polite and brought our drinks back rather quickly. The complimentary bruschetta came out first which was warm and crispy. We had the calamari and garlic knots as appetizers, we enjoyed both. I ate the ziti chef which may have been the greatest thing I have ever eaten. It was made with bacon, onions, and mushrooms made into a cream sauce. You get quite a bit of food for the price. My dish was $11.95 and I took half of it home. Little Italy is a hidden gem that you should certainly try.
Don’t like or dislike the place but it’s the SECOND time I’ve ordered a pizza WELL DONE aka CRISPY and have gotten a runny pizza. Called in the order for take out and was told 15 minutes. Got there and was asked to wait a few minutes and didn’t get the pizza for another 20 minutes. Firing up the oven and cooking it some more…
Best Pasta Place In NC. Me and my wife wanted to try a new place. We found this restaurant tucked away next to a gym, kind of like where all the chinese food places tend to be. The food and service here was great. It was over the top for such a small place. For what they had in there, I would have expected from a bigger restaurant. We’ll definitely go back.
The food and service were excellent, but I witnessed the owner yelling at one of his waitresses out in front instead of pulling her in back very unprofessional on his part 8/30/13 3:30 pm to 4:45pm
This place is just so good, can’t get enough. Reasonably priced and cozy little resturant perfect for the family.
Don’t let the outside appearance fool you. Great Italian food is served here! Very friendly wait staff. A little pricey but that is my only complaint. We will definitely be going back. The Spaghetti Little Italy was amazing. Baked Penne was yummy. Pizza is great.
The food at Little Italy is really good, but the service is great. It is obvious that the owners take time to train the staff very welll. I eat here almost weekly and am always impressed with the wait staff. Great place
