Grew up in Fayetteville and went here often. Every time Im back in town, We will always go to Luigis. Food quality and service never disappoints.
My hubby and I ate here on a Sunday evening. We were greeted pleasantly and seated immediately. Our server was attentive and informative. He ordered manicotti and I ordered a chicken pasta dish. Both were fabulous, and I took home enough leftover for a second meal. We shared a piece of the limoncello cake, which was also delicious. We will definitely return.
My wife actually proposed to me in this restaurant, which makes me sad to say how somewhat disappointed I was with my experience there. The waitress was a bit snoody and I would even dare to say condescending, so that made us a bit uncomfortable from the start. The wine selection was nice, but I was pretty disappointed in the food. I thought it would have more of an authentic Italian taste with an upscale kick, but the taste just fell short. The best part was the proposal. I ended up taking my food home. Hopefully they improve, but Soo far too pricey for what they have to offer 🙁
