California style NOT. Someone in staff needs to actually visit a California Mexican restaurant before touting its style. I never had diced and cured chicken in a Californian Mexican reestaurant. I love Californian Mexican food, spent many years there enjoying Mexican food.
Different, but good!. Thier mexican food is a different style than Micasitas, but they are both good in different ways in my opinion. I tried the chicken enchiladas, the cheese dip, and the mild salsa on the salsa bar. (I don’t do very spicy) Also, they bring you some bean dip from the get go, which is very good. The mild salsa (or childrens salsa) wasn’t the GREATEST, but I suppose it would be good for a kid. I do believe Micasitas does a better job flavoring their mild salsa. The white cheese dip is very good! I enjoyed the enchiladas, the chicken was tender, and the rice, beans, and salad, were also good. The rice is different, but flavored nicely as well. Oh and try a margarita! They are VERY good! Would go again!! If you don’t enjoy Micasitas, you would probably like this place. Only thing I would advise the owners to do different is remodel the bathroom…….its old and there appeared to be some water damage near a light, which made one of the ceiling tiles brown and bulging. Its kinda gross looking but the bathroom was clean besides that. Just 2 or 3 stalls with one small sink. Still will come back for the food!
Delicious, fresh, and vegetarian friendly. All of the veggies (in my burrito) were fresh, crisp, and obviously cooked to order. Would defiantly stop here again!
Don’t skip dessert!. I mean Bean dip and a salsa bar!! Who could possibly complain? The food is wonderful & the staff is always friendly and on top of things needed at the table. The kids love it just as much as we do. Specially the fried ice cream! My grandmother would make fired ice cream once a month for our family dinners, after she passed we only make it about once a year. So every chance I get I order it, always being underwhelmed but not here….. SO GOOD!!!
This was the first time I had ever been there, I did not know this place was even open, then I saw the sign one day as I went by and said next time I want Mexican food I will stop.. Well today was the day of course I ordered takeout.. I am Mexican and this is very good food the flavors were exceptional. Then I had some of the salsas 6 different kinds and they ran from very mild to spicy, I of course loved the spicy.. I will definetly be going back and this time with my family and for a sit down meal next time…
Best mexican restaurant in Fayetteville!. Delicious food, great atmosphere. Salsa bar is clean….lime salsa is definitely a favorite of mine! I have tried many things on the menu and all are delicious. This is definitely my favorite place to eat. Great margaritas too!!
Evening of 10 May 2014 ( Party of 4). The tacos (steak & chicken), plus beans and rice, were the best tasting tacos I have eaten in Fayetteville! We have lived here since 2000. The resturant was clean and the service was excellent!!
