We had high hopes for lunch being as it is labeled a gastropub and the other reviews were quite good. However, our experience was far from good. My son and I both ordered the Sunday brunch, eggs, which are not real eggs. First major disappointment. Second disappointment was the homefries were burnt!! Embarrassing that they would bring them out like that. We had a party of four and three meals were brought out together and the fourth meal was not brought out until the other meals were already finished. Service was less than desirable. I heard our server swearing as she told a story about a drunk night out. Extremely disappointed. Far from a gastropub….would not recommend and will not go back.

Really tasty food, the Cajun pasta was delicious and the bar was great! Not too crowded on a Friday night.
My friends family owns this business and I personally believe this restaurant is amazing! They have good service and great food… I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to watch sports, hang out with family and friends, and eat great food!
After 18 holes…… Scrub Oaks is your perfect gathering place after a round of golf. In fact it reminds me of my club, minus the course. Which remains me I need to pay my dues…Anyway, the crab cakes and fried pickles are better then average and the nachoes will make even a big guy full. I haven’t tried any of the main courses since I was really there for the beer that I paid for with Terrys money. Poor guy just couldn’t stay off the beach. My pepperjack burger was dang good but I was so hungry I could’ve eaten anything. Making a trip back there this weekend with the bride and we’ll see what happens. Say tuned.
Sometimey.. We have tried Scrub Oaks twice because the first time we had good service and our food was cooked properly. The next time we had the complete opposite experience, the food was over cooked, missing, came out slow and the service staff was lacking in attendance at our table. The first time we ordered a brownie dish that seemed uninspired, it tasted like deep fried brownie bites with ice cream. The first time we went I would say that we were 85-90% happy, the second time we were about 10-15% happy. I’m not sure that we’ll go back or not due to the drastic differences in service and food over just a few month period. UPDATE: We went again because it is convenient for us and I had a pretty decent ceasar salad and good service.
Had the opportunity to finally taste the food which was phenomenal the half-moon mozzarella is outstanding. Along with a great atmosphere and hospitable staff and owner definitely in my top 3 restaurants to dine.
