Most food probably came out of a can. The hash was mushy and obviously not homemade. I couldn’t stomach it. He grits had no flavor, and the home fries were soggy. As a non-local, this will not be one my list to visit when I come back.Well below expectations, especially for a traveling foodie.
Delicious. I’ve visited about 5 times and have never been disappointed with the food or service. I do feel they should upgrade the decor, but the restaurant is clean and a Raleigh favorite.
Good Hearty Breakfast portions. Food is actually quite good. The main reason for the low ratings is due to the decor…both outside and inside. The outside is in disrepair, green awning is half gone and blowing in the wind…inside is dull and needs a makeover. The owner should really fix these issues…and I’d bet his business would double.
The way Brunch should be…. Juice Carafes, fresh fruit, wicker furniture, floral prints, …..ahhh, perfect place to spend a Sunday morning. The place looks like the set of Golden Girls, complete with 60 yr old clientele to match. Large menu with many options, and food and service was very good.
Fresh and Healthy. I’ve been several times and always get fresh, delicious, healthy food. They have a great menu to choose from, service is good and I would recommend them to anyone.
