I have to give them a 5.0 rating because they are the bomb lol!!! I have been going there ever since they first opened up!! My stepdad is part Japanese so I thought that was even more amazing!!! Also, I love how they entertain you by cooking your food right in front of you. It’s even more fun when you have kids that are young cuz they enjoy the fire and the activity that’s going on!!!!!!!

The restaurant and Rocky Mount have seen some tough times in recent years. The parking lot has huge holes. The decor has not been touched or deeply cleaned in many years. Half of the place looks unusable because of neglect.All that being said the food is tasty and energetically prepared. No teen could clean their plate because the portions are epic.The Road Word: stop if you are here and need Japanese food, otherwise drive on.
The food is amazing but the service is terrible. As great as our cook was, it was impossible to enjoy it fully without utensils or the correct drinks. I received my appetizer after I finished my entrees…if the service had been on par without the cooks it would have been a great experience.

Great food. This is ONLY place, I will eat shrimp from and I DO NOT EAT SEAFOOD. The food is great, you will definitely take food home with you. Great place to go to celebrate with a small group!
Great food, HUGE portions. My husband and I usually share an entree and can never eat it all! Lunch is very reasonable $8-$10 average.
