We had great time until my friend tried to take a picture with the manger to write a great review. He grabbed her arm and told her she was RUDE! We will NEVER be back!

Solid Neighborhood Restaurant and Bar. Haven’t been to the Point in ages but finally stopped by before a movie at the Rialto. Service at the bar was a bit slow but not a huge deal. Very good buffalo wings, solid steak sandwich and EXCELLENT onion rings for dinner. They’ve also got decent brick-oven pizza which I’ve tried before. We’re talking bar food plus at the Point. With the tight parking in the area, you may not want to hit up The Point on the busier nights but if you’re willing to walk or come in Sunday to Wednesday, there shouldn’t be any problems. You really can’t go wrong here if you stick to the basics at The Point! nctriangledining.com

We love The Point! The bar area is cool and the dining area is huge! Fresh ingredients, wood fired crust (I think that’s what they call it) and a good wine and beer list! Also, this place won’t make your eyes burn as soon as you walk in the door (think Lilly’s). A must try!

Shrimp and Grits. Loved the neighborhood pub atmosphere after an early movie! Shrimp and grits was the perfect evening meal on a cold, wintery night. Service was outstanding….the server even found a collection of teas for hot tea. Hope to get back to Raleigh soon for another dinner at The Point.

The Point. Love the pizza! Service is great ! Big comfortable booths along with a nice bar area. Feels authentically local, because it is! Glenwood summer road repair and paving is over, check it out!

Over priced beer, obnoxious male bartenders, great place if you still think you 19 and the crowd certainly act like it, don’t expect much and it will be okay

Pub and restaurant with wood-fired oven. The point started off a Goodfella’s. It is a small chain. It did not last long and they dropped the franchise and changed thename to the Point at Glenwood. In the few years it has been the Point the quality of the food has increased a lot. We now go there once a week. The pizza is great. So is the fish cooked in parchment paper and the Korma curry. I lovethe caesar salad with fried oysters. They cook the oysters perfectly.A little crispy on the outside and melt like butter in the inside. It has a large menu, I have a long way to go to get through it.They also do a Sunday brunch. We ate there this past Sunday and it was very good. The staff did seemed rushed. Maybe one or two more wait staff?Overall the Point is a great addition to Five Points.
