Ok folks it’s NOT the Olive Garden or some other Americanized version of chain Italian food. Best described as upscale modern with Italian influences that certainly come through in many dishes. Very nice place for special night. It’s a bit pricey but every meal has been good and menu changes seasonally. It beats many other so called Italian places in towns.
Delicious!. We went to Vivace Monday night craving seafood and steak. Well, they have steak with character! Not just steak and potatoes like every other place! My husband had the hangar steak WITH SHORT RIB on top, the most tender and delicious combination you could ask for- with a potato puree and the perfect reduction to compliment. I ordered the off the menu chef entree with swordfish and golden beets and arugula- What a perfect spring combination. We started with the mussels- so fresh and perfectly spiced- it brought back memories of our Italian honeymoon, sitting outdoors with great wine and perfect spring temps. Our server, John, was on point with all of our recommendations with the wine to pair with our food. We had a fantastic spur of the moment dinner. Thank You!

Its okay at best, for Italian fusion, Please tell me whats so memorable about the food.Calamari is disgusting, Twice ive had fish, and twice its overcooked to death. Pastas are terrible, I can keep goin on. A place to be seen, not to eat!!!!!!
A kind of ‘sexy’ modern italian. Going home to raleigh for turkey day, my family and i had an event in my life to celebrate and i had a gift card, so we came here! as soon as we walked in you can tell it oozed a certain flair about it that you don’t find in most places. had an modern and sexy feel about it. dress casual seemed appropriate. the staff was very knowledgeable of the menu and the service was impeccable! great mojito and bruchetta. for my entree i got the duck breast which came a tender and juicy medium rare with a beautiful presentation. it is a bit on the pricey side, but if you want an exclusive experience, you get what you pay for. i LOOOOVED everything about this place! oh and the duck was THE best i’ve ever had!
Great place for a cocktail or glass of wine.. Great wine list. Really nice patio to have a cocktail on. Great bar crowd, people who aren’t afraid to get loud and have a good time!
