Excellent food! The crab stuffed Mahi Mahi was absolutely amazing and I’ve had my fair share of Mahi. 😉 I was a bit concerned that the bacon in the dish may be too strong for such a light fish, but it was the perfect touch to set the dish off. The restaurant itself has a quaint and comfortable ambience with a real wood burning fireplace. Light holiday decor is subtle enough to add some cheer without being overdone…and during warmed months thefr us ple try of patio seating in a semi private setting away from the street.I came at an odd hour, about 4:30 on a Sunday and there the restaurant was almost half full already. (obviously a very good sign that did not mislead). 😉 The ONLY thing that I felt was a hit off was the service staff. They were all friendly, however for a restaurant with $20+ entrees I would not expect to see such casual clothes for the host/manager and a couple of the servers had very colorfully dyed hair. (I support self expression, but I’m not a fan of it being shown to such an extent for a restaurant of this caliber, it would be more fitting in a biker bar or college bar).

It was a slightlycool, drizzly night and we were seated in the covered, outside area as the inside was full, but with the outside heaters- we were comfortable with a light jacket/sweater~ Husband got the Southwestern Flank Steak and it was delicious. Very tender, good flavor and cooked just as he ordered it. I got the Seafood Pasta …. the flavor was light and fresh…very good. As with most seafood/pasta dishes I order, it would have been better if they had thrown in just 1 more shrimp and 1 more scallop for the price of the dish. The flank steak was more bang for your buck. We also got the Carolina Crab Dip for a starter…..the flavor was good and it was a good amount for 2 people, but it was pureed so the texture was off. I would rather have had some of the lump crabmeat visible….not pulverized. Good restaurant….we’ll be back.
