Nice coffee shop in downtown. Easy walking distance to hotels and convention centers. Soy cappuccino was lovely. I wish there were a few more gluten free options. But, I had the tomato pie and didn’t eat the crust and it was lovely. Sometimes it is pretty crowded, so be open to sharing a table with a stranger.

Rude employees with attitudes. I used to frequent Camino Bakery because the food is yummy and the coffee is great. But I’m just worn out from the negative employee vibe. Never a nice greeting from anyone behind the counter when you go in or are waiting at the counter. Hardly ever a smile. Never a thank you (for spending your $$ on a local business). Most often they give you what you want but you get a whole dose of attitude with it. Employees there often act as if you are bothering them or interrupting them from by being a customer there. I won’t spend one more penny there and I would guess with that kind of business model that they’ll go the way of Artisan restaurant. I always try to shop local, bu at least at Starbucks you get a smile, and a thank you with your coffee.

At Camino the coffee is always good, the atmosphere is relaxing and a great place to catch up with friends. The food however is a little inconsistant. Sadly tonight’s desserts (orange curd tart and maple pecan cheesecake) were a big disappointment. The tart was flavorless and soupy and the cheesecake could have been more set as well. The bread we have had in the past has never been disappointing, the cinnamon raisin bread is my favorite.

Love me some Camino. This is my favorite place to study… but it is usually so full that I can’t find a table. And for good reason – their sandwiches are hands-down the best vegetarian sandwiches in town, and they make their own syrups for their coffee drinks. Like, their pumpkin spice latte actually has real pumpkin in it, and you can absolutely taste the difference. Great ambiance, great food, great staff!

Good, but a little pricey. The food here is good, but a little pricey. $6.50 for a pimento cheese sandwich, for example.

Soo good!. They bake some amazing cakes! Bought a red velvet cake for my grandma’s birthday and everyone loved it!
