Unfortunately we had a bad experience eating at this place. I ordered the crabcake and they just had a horrible smell. As soon as i put s bite in my mouth, the taste was bad, that i had to take it out. Definetely spoiled. Tomato soup was really good but the smell from the crab cake just ruined my appetite. Owner retuned the money. Ate happily at mc donald a minute after. Unfortunate since the first time i went to this place i thought it was a good alternative for a tapas-like experience. Won t come back.
Food is ok… But WAY overpriced. A sandwich and an iced tea (no side or chips) was $8.50. I could have made the same sandwich at home, it was small and unimpressive.
ItsJustKK. We are new to Winston-Salem, and this is one of the first places we tried. Suffice it to say that we’ve been back many times since. Everything is good, and the salad selection is a salad lover’s dream. My mouth is watering just thinking about it…think I’ll have to go there for dinner one night this week.
Best deli in Winston. Great deli sandwiches. The pastrami with russian cole slaw is fabulous. I also love their turkey sandwich on a baguette roll with cranberry sauce. I always ask for extra cranberry sauce on the side. The cranberry sauce is better than canned, it tastes freshly made. The turkey is unprocessed meat – it’s the real roasted breast meat. The sweet tea is really good – not too sweet, just right. The service is efficient, quiet and polite. It’s perfect.
Best Ruebens. My husband and I truly miss the Carving Board. The Ruebens are the best ever and the three salad plate is gret too. I really miss the spicy noodles and the roasted potato salad.
Great place for lunch. This place is usually packed at lunchtime and it is understandable. Great sandwiches and salads.
They have amazing sandwiches and great sides/salads. This is my favorite restaurant in Winston. You can create your own sandwich or three salad plate or get one of their great specials. A must-go!!
