Horrible Experience. I used to eat at this establishment on a regular basis but haven’t in about six months. Something has changed and the food is no longer freshly prepared but it is instead just warmed in a microwave. Also, the wait staff is very inattentive and not familiar with their own menu. It took them 6 minutes to seat us, food was served cold and some was not what was ordered. When we asked to speak with a manager we were told that there was no one there that could help us. Classy. My wife an I eat here a lot, and it is the best mexican around. They go the extra mile with quality dishes, and the spice and flavor levels are just right. The Camerones Chipotle is awesome! Very good, classy mexican joint that doesnt disappoint.
Great carnitas. We’re a long way from the Mexican border here, but some things are really good at El Paisano. Best carnitas you can find in Winston-Salem. Also, the Coctel de Camarron is pretty decent. A little bit sweet for my taste, but the best I’ve found so far, so just add a lot more lime juice. The wait staff is very friendly and attentive. Do not order the Cordoneses – they aren’t quail, but Cornish game hens. Soft tacos are good and come with all the extras, but for the radishes that are ubiquitous in Mexico. To be honest, I haven’t tried anything else. My son-in-law says the enchiladas are not good, but he does like the carnitas and beans burritos. And, if you want a better Marguerita, order the Texas – a dollar more, but better tequila, and more flavor.

Great place the food is always good never had a bad meal here. The service is the fastest around.
