We went to finnigans wake tonight for dinner with friends. The food was wonderful- good genius stew, outstanding Sheppard pie even if it was heavy on the mashed potatoes and amazing fish and chips- but the service was atrocious. We waited for our food for about twenty five minutes while servers chatted with each other. Our waitress was particularly not bother with waiting tables. We asked for drinks and got them but after that we were not asked again if we wanted another. We had to call out to her to get her attention. She cleared the plates and did not bring us the check or ask if we wanted dessert. Two of the ladies wanted an amaretto coffee but she was no where to be found. Finally we had to ask another server to get us our checks. The place was not that busy.
