  May 4, 2019 Saturday lunch. Sister, wife, son, daughter-in-law for lunch. True Lexington BBQ – cooked with wood (smoke flavor is great). BBQ can be ordered as chopped, sliced, blocked, or pulled I ordered chopped as this is the historic correct serviced style – or sliced is ok. The barbeque (I had a tray of chopped) was really great – correct ratio of lean to some small included fat. The barbeque (red) slaw was ‘out of this world’ – I could have really enjoyed eating much more of this than would have been good for me. Hush puppies were cornbread – but paired very well with the meat and slaw. The banana pudding was exceptional – all five of us not only cleaned our bowls but also scrapped the bowls for the last possible taste. Highly recommend the banana pudding.

  Kinda boring, but that’s geared toward their clientele. My wife and I are 30 and were by far the youngest couple in there by at least 30 years. The sliced pork was stringy/tough and the hush puppies are bland. My wife’s breakfast was good though, her french toast was good and the eggs and bacon were adequate. Won’t be headed back.

  A DISGUSTING WAITRESS (BREAKFAST). My family and i have eaten at hill’s many times over the years. The last six months we have dropped off eating there because it’s just not what it used to be. The food is just not as good. Another reason is a HUSSY waitress that works the breakfast shift and i know her and what she has done to someone’s family. She smiled at the family all the while sleeping with the husband, i really cant stand to look at her, make’s you lose your appetite.

  Disappointed. Went here to eat and thought the food was pretty good, really liked the banana pudding. Stopped by a week later to get banana pudding to go. It was put in a banana split ice cream boat with saran wrap tightly wrapped. Got home 2 hrs. later to eat it and it was a liquid mess. Terrible. went back today with family member to eat. Compained about previous banana pudding to go. Not even an appology. was very surprised that hills bbq didnt even care, didnt even say sorry, or offer to make it right. Then I was shocked to learn that the same serving size banana pudding cost you 1.95 Mon. Through Friday and 2.75 on Saturday and Sunday. Ask waitress why and stated that didnt seem fair to me. She shrugged and said alot of things arent fair. Sad but I will not be going back to Hills BBQ ever again to eat.

  Hiills BBQ. I would like everyone to know I’ve eaten at hills for years the management and waitress does a awesome job and their is a imposter named Mary smith trying to hurt this buisness and a waitress I find this very distasteful she was just kicked of Facebook for being a false person and having a fake account this person is very distasteful and heartless and if your looking for a awesome restaurant breakfast is my favorite but all their food is good

  Delicious Barbecue in Winston Salem. Just had lunch here again the other day. The BBQ flavor is excellent. I prefer this style of barbecue over others in the local area. The restaurant is clean and well managed. Service is fast and friendly. Prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend Hill’s Lexington Barbecue in Winston Salem. We shall return!

  Not the best BBQ I’ve ever had, but good. The chopped sandwich was fairly small but it was relatively inexpensive so it was ok. Overall, it was good.
