Yum. Finally got to try this place out and the food was delicious, I got the brown stew chicken and my husband got the curry chicken, surprised by the big portions…definitely enough to fill you up, side of fried plantains were needed of course. A little pricey but for the quality you get I can’t complain, will be back to try more dishes!

Finally got to try this place out and the food is amazing, I tried the brown chicken stew and it was delicious(be aware of bones tho) My husband had the curry chicken, I was surprised by how big the portions were and you could tell the food was freshly prepared, a little pricey but for the quality I can’t complain, can’t wait to go back and try some more dishes!
Best Caribbean Food I’ve had in a long time. Since moving to North Carolina I’ve been wanting to find more soul food and more Caribbean food. When I lived in Athens it was all over the place, but in Boone area, nothing really cut it. Well, now that I live in Winston-Salem and had time to go out and search, this place has become my new go to.The chicken falls right off the bone into a scrumptious mix of rice and peas. I tend to hate cabbage, but the side they give you is cooked to perfection and your taste buds just accept it. And the macaroni and cheese… Where do I even begin? The spices are done just right, if it is a little too hot, it’s nothing that a sip of tea won’t fix.Point being, this is a restaurant that everybody should patronize, because quite frankly, it’s delicious.
Love it!. Excellent food, value and service! I will be coming back again and again.
