We sat in the restaurant for 45 minutes and watched 3 other tables (who arrived after us) have their order taken and their food delivered. We would have asked to have our order taken but NOBODY came by our table. Horrible service. Horrible atmosphere. We are enjoying our dinner at Mizu on Robinhood and are much happier.
MUST READ – loved the food but hate the fact the waitresses do NOT get to keep their tips. That’s right. At the end of the night the waitress isn’t getting it. What a shame.

Ishi is the best Sushi spot in Winston.. I absolutely adore Ishi’s sushi. I encourage all of my friends to go there, it’s kind of the locals sushi spot. A little expensive ($20 for 3 rolls), and I’m not aware of any specials that they have, but it’s always worth the money. Highly recommended.
Good food but service was very poor.. The entrance to the restaurant, makes it hard to find someone to take your name so you can wait to be seated. The hibachi and sushi was very good but the wait staff was horrendous. We had to flag down a server everytime we needed something and they forgot to prepare half of what we ordered. I’m not sure if this was a fluke but being that was my first experience with Ishi, I do not plan on going back.
This is definitely the best sushi in the area! Try the holiday roll!
Delightful experience, phenomenal sushi. Staff attentive and friendly. The sushi is exquisite, edible art. Will definity return again to recreate this pleasing experience.
