Really Good. Just moved to the Ardmore area and was looking for a good Chinese Restaurant. Located in the corner of the strip mall, next to Tuesday Morning this restaurant has great flavor and their lunch prices are awesome! This one has quickly become my favorite and it looks like others here agree.
For good cheap Chinese you can’t beat Kowloon. We take it out all the time. Try the sesame chicken or pork ribs dishes! Also the crab rangoons are delicious!
Know what to expect. Kowloon is an inexpensive restaurant mostly frequented for carry out. There is no ambiance or table service. We have always enjoyed the bok choy with tofu, and are not even vegetarian. Staff has always been friendly and helpful. I don’t go to cheap Chinese carry outs expecting to find Michelin stars.
If you live or work near Baptist or Forsyth hospitals and are in the mood for Chinese takeout, then Kowloon would be my choice. Friendly and fast service and flavorful dishes. My favorite are the mixed veg with garlic sauce, empire chicken, and moo shoo pork.
