Local 27101 has a prime spot on the heart of 4th Street in downtown Winston. We went on a Saturday night, and it had a healthy crowd, but we still found a table and got our food quickly. Their menu is limited, consisting mostly of sandwiches, burgers, and salads. They also have craft cocktails. I really liked the decor, with dark walls contrasted with light wood panels. We tried the shrimp po boy and the oyster po boy. The oyster po boy was definitely the better of the two, and both came topped with tartar sauce. Unfortunately, no cocktail sauce was available. The buns had the Local 27101 logo grilled into them, which was a unique touch. I liked the atmosphere and would go back again to try their burger, but I wouldn’t recommend the po boys. However, it’s good to see another lower priced dining option in downtown Winston (this same corner has Jimmy Johns and Tropical Smoothie cafe, two other low priced options).
