Oh Jeez. Okay, so first of all, if you are craving pizza, go elsewhere. This is authentic in a way that will not satisfy those cravings. I think we ordered six small pizzas, personal size. We called in about AN HOUR AND A HALF earlier than we wanted to eat. We let them know when we would pick them up. Went to pick up the pizzas, and we had to wait HALF AN HOUR to get all our order. It was over $100 after I left a $15 tip. That’s a big tip. That’s a whole other pizza worth of tip. The pizza was not only COLD, but also BURNT. It was a very disappointing experience. On the bright side, the restaurant wasn’t packed and it had a nice atmosphere. A real fire in the oven with actual wood. It was definitely authentic, with interesting options.

New downtown pizza joint. I have mixed feelings about Mission Pizza. First the good: They have a good beer selection, and a hip, modern atmosphere. The bad: I’m not sure about the pizza – let’s just say it wasn’t for me, but I can see how others could like it. The flavor of the crust was good, but it was so thin and soggy the pizza practically fell apart when I tried to hold the slice. The ingredients were all of high quality, but neither of the two pizzas we tried were very filling. Also, be warned, the diavolo pizza was extremely spicy. I’ve never had neopolitan pizza before, so I don’t have anything else to compare Mission Pizza to. If you like neopolitan style pizza, give it a try – if you want something with crust you can sink your teeth into, try the Loop Pizza Grill at Thruway instead.

Excellent Pizza, wood fired, authentic toppings. Very nice waitress

Great Neapolitan style pizza. Bad acoustics. Hard to talk. Good mozerrella but it is not available in a salad or appetizer, only on the pizzas. 1990s basement style interior.

So good!!! I’ve had their pizza and also some of their small plates. The shrimp is outstanding and the pizza is as well. I highly recommend!

Best pizza in town. If you are looking for a ton of cheese with a lot of greasy toppings, this is not you place. If you like a thin crust with innovative topping, craft beer selections, and a good wine list. This is your place. Cannot wait to try other selections from their wood fired oven. Should be a hit.
