Great sushi but extremely slow service. Plan on spending at least 1.5hrs if you’re have lunch there. This has been the case every time I’ve gone there.
Horrible. Do not eat here this place is full of rude people especially when the menu doesn’t tell you what’s in it an if you have food allergies they don’t care
Ok, slow service , unpersonable wait staff, food is good, try the marinated beef!
Great!. Great cheap food! One of the best sushi places in town. Always stop by every time I am in the area. I am not sure what the other person is complaining about because the quality that you get is better than the price. I’ve been to other high end Japanese restaurants in NY & DC and this is pretty great for this small town. Will come back again 🙂
Great Food. I have been to many Japanese restaurants in winston Salem. I love Miyako the best. You have to try the stingray roll, Its out of this world. One half will fill up most anyone unless you are very very hungrey. Service was always great, and very pretty waitresses doesnt hurt either.
Good Value. There are some that say that this place doesnt have proper sushi becuase of this or that, but I think they are expecting a little too much for the type of restaurant that Miyako is. This is a grab a quick bite that is reliably good tasting and cheap type of place. Service is good, and I found the food to be exactly what I expected – not high end, and miles above store bought. Just good cheap food that satisfies. This is one of the first places I think of when I am on this side of town.
We eat at Miyako regularly. Good for cheaper scale Japanese food. Soups, noodles and sushi are pretty decent. Worth a stop if on south end of Peters Creek Pkwy.
