Mooney’s is that quaint downtown restaurant where you feel like you could become friend’s with the owners and staff easily. They ooze hospitality. The food is excellent clean cuisine. The flavors are unique with strong spices. Order a platter to get the best of everything. You will also enjoy the warm atmosphere and the easy wine selection.

First time eating here for dinner on a Friday night….we ordered the Tawook platter and Kafta platter. Both the grilledchicken and beef/lamb patties were very good along with the basmati rice that it was served with. The platters came with a salad (fettoosh), hummus and pita bread….a good amount of each. We ordered the tabouli for an appetizer. It was good, but next time we will try something else since the fettoosh that came with our platterswas a good amount of greens. It is not a large amount of meat, but we left satisfied, especially for the price. If you are veryhungry, I would definitely suggest a heavier appetizer than the tabouli….we plan on ordering something like the lentil soup or moussaka for an appetizer next time. Very good flavors….small caf atmosphere.

Delicious food and awesome service. We read the reviews while on the way there, we were a little bit apprehensive because of the negative comments. To our surprise, we were greeted at the door. We weren’t familiar with the menu, so the gentleman that waited on us was very patient. 5 min after we walked on a Tuesday night at 6:30, more and more people came in. Some had to wait for there were no tables available. The time we had to wait was no longer than the time we would have waited in any other restaurants. The food was great. The staff was very friendly. The price was right. Please try for yourself.I just wish they stop selling alcohol.

Great food and friendly service!. The food was delicious and the service was very friendly. The food was traditional Lebanese food with American twist. We ordered the sampler platter with baba ghanoush, fattoush, tabouli, and falafel. The baba ghanoush and falafel were amazing. For dinner, our table ordered the shawarma over hummus, tawook sidon, and the kafta burger. The shawarma was tender and well seasoned. The tawook sidon was a seasoned chicken with an excellent couscous. But the kafta burger stole the show. the burger was absolutely amazing and tender. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for great Mediterranean food!

Delicious! Very reasonable prices for the quality of food. I had a sampler platter with tobuli, falafel, fried cauliflower and cous cous (had raisins and feta which paired perfectly!) and it was better than a number of Mediterranean restaurants I’ve visited.

Love this place! His best kept secret are the grape leaves. Try them! I never much cared for them until I tried the ones here. Also, they support local vendors.
