  • The crab bisque was just okay, but the chicken piccata with mashed potatoes was great. Huge portions, and rolls with garlic butter were wonderful too!…

Made to order. I love this place. The first thing on the menu i tried was the oyster salad. They were tender and juicy on the inside but still crunchy. Their citrus vinaigrette is on point. I will be trying everything on the menu

Awesome Place!!!. We have been here 4 times and haven’t been disappointed. Their Salmon is always perfect, and the pasta dishes are amazing! Presentation is great too and the staff here is very knowledgeable and very attentive! We love the cozy curtained booths.

One of the Triad’s best. I wrote an earlier review of Oso in 2012 where I stated that the restaurant was often excellent, but hit or miss in terms of service and quality of food. However, since then, they seem to have found their stride. In the recent past, Oso has been consistently great. The variety of dishes is huge and sure to have something for everyone. I love their fra diablo, marsala, and fried oysters. Their salad is excellent with the citrus dressing, and the garlic herb butter works wonders on rolls. I also love their crab/lobster bisque soups. Try the florgetabout it if you want to try a unique pasta dish with sun dried tomatoes. The service ranges from excellent to average, but the decor is pretty nice. All in all, Oso has become one of my favorite restaurants in the Triad, especially for the money.

Excellent Locally Owned. While passing through Winston my wife and I decided, based on the reviews to try this place out. The service was excellent and the food was even better. After we had finished our meal the chef came out and talked with us. You can tell that the head chef and owners truly care about this place and its clientele based both in the quality of the food and how they treat their guests. The menu is creative yet also has the classics. I highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be returning soon.
