This place is ok. I’ve been looking for some decent and cheap hibachi since I moved to Winston Salem about 4 months ago. This is the best I’ve found at a pretty decent price. I do wish there was more chicken as it already comes with a side of sweet carrots and is served with zucchini and mushrooms. I have also tried the spicy tuna roll which is pretty decent. I got takeout once which was a great experience. My food was ready in 10 minutes and you can pick up at a drive thru window. I dined in this past Sunday and didn’t have such a great experience. The hostess was great and seated us promptly and with a smile. The waiter seemed almost irritated and not happy to be there. Our spicy tuna roll came out right away, but our hibachi chicken took OVER 30 minutes with no explanation. The waiter stopped by once to say it should be out soon about 20 minutes into our wait. There were people there longer than us who got their food at the same time as us. Yet a couple who sat next to us received their food just minutes after ordering. We received nothing in the way of an apology, an explanation or even a free soda for our 30 minute wait. All in all, I will definitely eat here again, just probably will get takeout. I give the food a 4 and the service a 2.

Love this place!. Cannot get enough – especially SUSHI! The best in Winston, by far! Try their new Lucky Roll – so good! Everyone from sushi chef’s to servers (especially Yani!) are so helpful and friendly, never disappointed here. Coming into to my favorite time of year at Sakura because my girl & I can sit on patio, enjoy sake or wine and awesome sushi – tried all the others in town – Sakura does it the best! They also have a pick up window, makes it easy to decide what to pick up for dinner on the way home- call it in and ready when I get there!
The Food tasted great, but it was warm at best when served, and the portion was adequate for a bird- and not worth the money.
My boyfriend and I went here trying to find a decent priced Japanese place. The price is lower than most Japanese restaurants, and for a reason. The food sucked. I ordered the hibachi chicken. My boyfriend ordered the hibachi steak and chicken. The food was over seasoned to the point where we had more of a rice soysauce soup. The server didn’t pick up our appetizer dish, not only that but he did not refill my drink. I ordered sweet tea and there was no refill during the entire stay. He did not even ask us if we were okay. We gave up good Service and good food for a cheaper price. That’s what this place is well known for.

I had the Stratford role and the fried rice with shrimp sauce. I was pleasantly surprised how good the food was. You have to get the shrimp sauce with the rice!
