Smoothie is good, but service was lacking. They were all sitting and talking as I came in. Nobody really leaped up to help. I do not know why they have so many people working when the store is dead. Does not give a good impression. The other winston location is much better.
Tropical Smoothie Cafe is a good healthy alternative to your typical fast food fare. I’m not a big smoothie person, but everyone I’ve been with who has ordered one has been satisfied. Their sandwiches/wraps are okay, but the reason I go here is for their tacos. I particularly like the fish tacos, which are excellent for a non-mexican fast food place. The only downside to this place is the price/portion ratio and the service (service has been slow and/or poor not just at this location, but also at the location on Hanes Mall Blvd and the location off hwy 68 in High Point). Those factors keep me from giving Tropical Smoothie higher than a 3.5. However, If you are wanting a break from the usual burgers and fries, it is worth a visit.
