A favorite. Wonderful food, good service, nice atmosphere. I come here usually late in the evenings as their kitchen is open late. After a long day working, it’s nice to have a quiet dinner with quality food and a good glass of wine. I can’t say I’ve had anything off the menu that wasn’t prepared well. Shrimp and grits, OMG .. best I have had in the area (better than Nobles and not as pricey!) The pecan pie is to die for, love the load of nuts, I always have to take half of it home. My vegan friends love the spaghetti squash, the crab dip is a favorite of my son’s served hot and steaming. The burgers, just yum!
Awesome food, service and atmosphere. Ate here for the first time tonight and would definitely give it 5 stars. Service was very attentive an extremely pleasant. The atmosphere was very pleasant as well. The food was impeccable. We shared the mussels with capelini and the spaghetti squash dinner. Both were by far the best dishes I have had in a long time. The mussels were very tender and the spaghetti squash dinner had unbelievable flavor. Will definitely eat here again on my next trip to Winston-Salem!! I would highly recommend this place if you are in the area!
Simply the best. Having eaten here for 15+ years, there’s never been a bad meal. The Stratford location is just as nice but I prefer the smaller, more intimate setting in Reynolda Village. Fantastic food, impeccable service and a cozy atmosphere.If you have a large party or celebration, Stratford is the better bet.

Always Satisfied. I have been going to Village Tavern for years. The service is always excellent and the food is delicious. The filet mignon is one of the best, and my favorite dish is the spaghetti squash. I enjoy their indoor and outdoor seating. They are also extremely accommodating for special dietary requests.
Great meal. Several people recommended this restaurant and we were not disappointed!We met friends from out of town on a family trip to Winston Salem. Food was great, service was attentive, food was very tasty. Their sweet potato fries are very good!!It’s on our list for a return visit the next time we’re in W-S!!
This restaurant had such a cute ambiance in the evening! We sat outside under the tent and aside from one pesky fly we really enjoyed sitting out there. Our server was very pleasant and friendly, asked us what brought us to town, etc. All of us in the group enjoyed our meals. I got the pulled pork sliders with a side salad, very flavorful and good without being too messy or too much food. To top off the evening I got the chocolate martini for dessert which was very good, the chocolate syrup used for garnish was the good thick and fudgey kind that made it perfect for dessert!
