Worst Ever!!!. I was in Gastonia and decided to have barbecue. I found Black’s and was disgusted by their minced barbecue sandwich. I eat barbecue all over the country and like the diversity in barbecues in different states. However, at Black’s the minced barbecue was ground into a paste, like the toothpaste you brush with in the morning. If you did not tell me it was barbecue, I would never have known. The taste was truly awful. The restaurant also was not clean with a lot of dirty tables and napkins on the floors underneath the tables. On a scale of 1 – 10, with 10 being the best score possible, I would give it a 1! If I could give Black’s a lower score, I would.

Nasty bbq. Don’t get the BBQ sandwich, it tasted like cardboard.
High priced sloppy food.. Today was my first time at blacks. I ordered one turkey club, one cheese dog, a fry, and asked for two cherry lemon sundrops. It costs me 18.00 dollars. First the person who took my order over the phone was rude. The food was not any where near good. The chili was nasty, the fries were cold, and we got cheerwine with lemon instead if cherry lemon sundrop. Will never go back to blacks.
I love Blacks! I grew up on the slaw and burgers!! I anit never ate no where better than this place! Now i live about.an hour away but I still eat here!!
If you want good bbq in gastonia go to kyle fletchers they are good and bring cash cause they dont take debit but its werth it in my opinion!
We were passing through Gastonia with a guest from out of town and she Wanted barbecue and not being familiar with Gastonia restaurants we looked at the reviews and Decided on Blacks.I don’t know what they serve but it was not barbecue in any way shape or form! Undoubtedly the worst meal I have ever had in my life. Be forewarned!
