Best Japanese Restaurant in Gaston County. The headline says it all… Best Japanese food in Gaston County. Everything here is good and affordable. The beef plate is good considering most Chinese and Japanese restraunts have chewy steak that is overcooked. The carrots here taste as good as candy. Also this location has sushi, unlike the Belmont location. Food can also be made to order as low carb or low salt. Generally, plates run from 5-10 dollars. I usually get the tilapia plate or the teryaki chicken. I would say the biggest con is having to always wait longer than expected at the drive thru… but it is worth it.

Great food, but I would recommend using the drive thru, even though it is a pain, instead of eating inside. Service is slow.
Believe it or not… When my BF suggested we go through the drive-through here on a recent road trip, I really doubted his sanity. But believe it or not, it was quick, correct, affordable and most importantly, delicious! I was sooo surprised. I had teriyaki steak and it was sooo good. Calling in your order may be smarter, even though we had no problem and no wait. Surprising success!

Great if you want fast, simple Japanese style hibachi grill food. Servers are friendly and fast. Great if you want to carry out or eat in. Drive thru is a bit of a pain, so if you order out, it’s faster to go inside to pick up.
