Good, reliable Italian food. This is your standard small town Italian restaurant. I don’t care for their pizza, but the spaghetti and meatballs is a favorite of mine. The chicken parm is also good. I’ve always had quick and reliable waitstaff. I frequently dine there alone when my partner is out-of-town, and am pleased that my service (unlike some places) is just as good for the sole diner as it is for the groups around me. They also deliver, which is a bit unusual for Gastonia. Salads are always fresh, as is the bread.
Great Fresh, Bad Reheated. This is one of those pizza joints that you have to get a size you can eat there, and be willing to leave what you don’t eat because, trying to reheat it tastes horrible. I can’t figure out why. I’ve tried the microwave, oven, pan & broiler, to no avail. I can’t get over how bad it tastes the day after.I have no opinion on any of the other menu items, as I’ve never tried them.
